How to Use Westland Peat Free Cacti & Succulent Potting Mix 4L

Materials Needed

• Westland Peat Free Cacti & Succulent Potting Mix 4L
• Pots with drainage holes
• Cacti or succulent plants
• Watering can or spray bottle
• Gloves (optional)

Preparation

1. Choose a suitable pot with drainage holes to prevent overwatering.
2. Ensure your work area is clean and covered to catch any soil spills.
3. Put on gloves if desired to keep your hands clean.

Planting

1. Fill the pot with the Westland Peat Free Cacti & Succulent Potting Mix, leaving some space at the top.
2. Make a small hole in the center of the mix for the plant roots.
3. Carefully remove the cacti or succulent from its original container.
4. Gently place the plant into the hole, ensuring the roots are spread out.
5. Add more potting mix around the plant, patting it down lightly to secure it.

Watering

1. Use a watering can or spray bottle to lightly water the plant.
2. Ensure the potting mix is moist but not waterlogged.
3. Water sparingly, allowing the mix to dry out between waterings.

Placement

• Place the pot in a location with plenty of light, but avoid direct sunlight.
• Ensure the area is warm and has good air circulation.

Maintenance
