How to Use the STAR PACK Radiator Cap Universal

Safety Precautions

• Ensure that your vehicle’s engine is completely cool before attempting to remove the radiator cap. Opening the radiator cap on a hot engine can cause severe burns due to steam and hot coolant.
• Wear protective gloves and eyewear to safeguard against any accidental spills.

Tools Needed

• A pair of protective gloves
• Protective eyewear
• A clean cloth or towel

Steps to Install the Radiator Cap

1. Ensure your vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is turned off and cooled down.
2. Open the hood of your vehicle and locate the radiator.
3. Using a clean cloth, carefully unscrew the existing radiator cap by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Remove the old radiator cap and inspect the radiator opening for any debris or damage.
5. Take the STAR PACK Radiator Cap Universal from the packaging.
6. Align the new radiator cap with the radiator opening.
7. Gently press down and turn the cap clockwise until it is securely tightened.

After Installation

• Start the vehicle and allow the engine to warm up to check for any leaks around the radiator cap.
• If there are no leaks, close the hood and ensure everything is properly secured.
