How to Use TALA Steel Cake Stencils

  • TALA Steel Cake Stencils (set of 3)
  • Cupcakes or cake
  • Powdered sugar, cocoa powder, or icing sugar
  • Fine mesh sieve (optional)
  • Royal icing (optional)

Steps for Decorating with Powdered Sugar or Cocoa Powder

  1. Bake and cool your cupcakes or cake completely.
  2. Choose the desired stencil shape: heart, star, or flower.
  3. Place the stencil gently on top of the cupcake or cake surface.
  4. Using a fine mesh sieve, sprinkle powdered sugar or cocoa powder evenly over the stencil.
  5. Carefully lift the stencil straight up to avoid smudging the design.
  6. Repeat with other cupcakes or cakes as desired.

Steps for Royal Icing Decoration

  1. Prepare royal icing to a consistency suitable for stenciling.
  2. Bake and cool your cupcakes or cake completely.
  3. Choose the desired stencil shape: heart, star, or flower.
  4. Place the stencil gently on top of the cupcake or cake surface.
  5. Using a spatula, spread a thin layer of royal icing over the stencil.
  6. Carefully lift the stencil straight up to reveal the design.
  7. Allow the icing to set before serving.
