How to Use the Chef Aid Apple Corer Steel
Step 1: Prepare the Apple
- Wash the apple thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or residue.
- Place the apple upright on a stable cutting board. Ensure it stands steadily to prevent slipping.
Step 2: Position the Apple Corer
- Hold the apple corer firmly by its handle.
- Align the circular blade of the corer with the center of the apple, directly above the stem.
Step 3: Core the Apple
- Press the apple corer down into the apple with steady pressure.
- Ensure the blade penetrates through the entire apple, reaching the bottom.
Step 4: Remove the Core
- Twist the corer slightly to loosen the core from the apple.
- Pull the corer out, along with the apple core.
Step 5: Check the Apple
- Inspect the apple to ensure the core has been completely removed.
- If necessary, repeat the coring process to remove any remaining seeds or core pieces.
Step 6: Clean the Corer
- Rinse the corer under warm water to remove any apple residue.
- Dry it thoroughly before storing it away.
