How to Use the Kilner Clip Top Square Preserve Jar 250ml
1. Preparing the Jar
- Wash the jar thoroughly with warm soapy water.
- Rinse well to remove any soap residue.
- Ensure the jar is completely dry before use.
2. Sterilizing the Jar
- Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
- Place the jar and its lid on a baking tray.
- Leave them in the oven for 20 minutes to sterilize.

3. Filling the Jar
- Prepare your preserve, jam, or chutney according to your recipe.
- Use a funnel to fill the jar with your prepared mixture, leaving some space at the top.

4. Sealing the Jar
- Place the rubber seal inside the groove of the jar lid.
- Close the lid and secure the clip to form an airtight seal.
- Check the seal by pressing down on the lid; it should not flex.
5. Storing the Jar
- Label the jar with the contents and date of preparation.
- Store the jar in a cool, dark place.
- Once opened, keep the jar in the refrigerator and consume within a reasonable period.
6. Cleaning the Jar
- After use, wash the jar and lid with warm soapy water.
