How to Use EVERBUILD 101 Multi Purpose Linseed Oil Putty

Materials Needed

• EVERBUILD 101 Multi Purpose Linseed Oil Putty
• Putty knife or spatula
• Glass pane (if glazing windows)
• Gloves (optional, for hand protection)
• Clean cloth

Preparation

1. Ensure the surface where the putty will be applied is clean, dry, and free from dust or old putty.
2. If glazing, make sure the glass pane is cut to the appropriate size.

Application

1. Open the container of EVERBUILD 101 Multi Purpose Linseed Oil Putty.
2. Take a small amount of putty and knead it with your hands until it becomes soft and pliable.
3. Roll the putty into a rope shape that is slightly longer than the length of the area you are filling.
4. Press the putty firmly into the gap or area where it is needed using your fingers or a putty knife.
5. If glazing, place the glass pane gently onto the bed of putty and press down to ensure a secure fit.

Smoothing and Finishing

1. Use a putty knife to smooth out the surface of the putty, removing any excess material and ensuring a neat finish.
2. Wipe away any excess putty from the surrounding surfaces with a clean cloth.
