- Firmly grip the handle of the plunger.
- Push the plunger down gently to create suction, then pull up quickly to create pressure.
- Repeat the plunging motion several times, maintaining the seal over the drain.
Step 5: Check the Drain
- After several thrusts, remove the plunger and check if the blockage has cleared.
- If necessary, repeat the plunging process.
Step 6: Clean Up
- Once the blockage is cleared, clean the plunger with disinfectant.
- Wash your hands thoroughly after use.
