How to Use Bartoline Teak Oil

Materials Needed

  • Bartoline Teak Oil 250ml
  • Clean, dry cloth or brush
  • Soft lint-free cloth for buffing
  • Protective gloves (optional)

Preparation

  1. Ensure the wooden furniture is clean and dry before application.
  2. If necessary, lightly sand the wood surface to remove any rough areas or old finishes.
  3. Wipe away any dust or particles with a dry cloth.

Application

  1. Shake the Bartoline Teak Oil bottle well before use.
  2. Pour a small amount of teak oil onto the clean, dry cloth or brush.
  3. Apply the oil evenly onto the wood surface, following the grain of the wood.
  4. Allow the oil to soak into the wood for about 15-20 minutes.

Finishing

  1. After the oil has soaked in, use a soft lint-free cloth to buff the surface, removing any excess oil.
  2. Buff the wood until it achieves a smooth and even finish.
  3. For best results, apply a second coat after 24 hours, if necessary.

Maintenance

  • Reapply the teak oil as needed to maintain the wood’s finish and protection.
  • Store the teak oil in a cool, dry place when not in use.
