How to Use AUTO EXTREME AUTOMOTIVE AX BUMPER & TRIM SPRAY PAINT 300ML

Materials Needed

  • AUTO EXTREME Automotive AX Bumper & Trim Spray Paint 300ML
  • Protective gloves
  • Protective eyewear
  • Masking tape
  • Drop cloth or newspaper
  • Clean cloth
  • Sandpaper (optional for rough surfaces)

Preparation

  1. Ensure you are in a well-ventilated area or outdoors.
  2. Wear protective gloves and eyewear for safety.
  3. Clean the surface to be painted with a clean cloth to remove dust and dirt.
  4. If necessary, sand the surface lightly for better adhesion.
  5. Use masking tape to cover areas you do not wish to paint.
  6. Place a drop cloth or newspaper beneath the area to protect against overspray.

Application

  1. Shake the can of spray paint vigorously for at least 2 minutes to ensure even mixing.
  2. Hold the can approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) away from the surface.
  3. Spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, overlapping each stroke slightly.
  4. Apply multiple thin coats rather than one thick coat to avoid drips and runs.
  5. Allow each coat to dry for approximately 10-15 minutes before applying the next one.

Drying and Finishing

  1. After the final coat, allow the paint to dry completely. This may take up to 24 hours depending on the temperature and humidity.
  2. Remove the masking tape carefully once the paint is dry.
  3. Inspect the surface for any missed spots and touch up if necessary.

Clean Up

  • Dispose of the drop cloth or newspaper according to local regulations.
  • Store the can of spray paint in a cool, dry place for future use.
