How to Use Dripak Dishwasher Salt Crystals
Step 1: Prepare Your Dishwasher
- Ensure your dishwasher is turned off and cool to the touch.
- Open the dishwasher door fully.
Step 2: Locate the Salt Compartment
- Find the salt compartment, usually located at the bottom of the dishwasher near the filter.
- If unsure, check your dishwasher’s user manual for the exact location.
Step 3: Fill the Salt Compartment
- Unscrew and remove the cap of the salt compartment.
- Using a funnel, pour Dripak Dishwasher Salt Crystals into the compartment until it is full.
- Be careful not to spill salt inside the dishwasher tub, as this may cause rusting.
Step 4: Secure the Compartment
- Replace the cap and screw it on tightly to ensure it is sealed properly.
Step 5: Run a Cleaning Cycle
- Close the dishwasher door.
- Run an empty cycle to help dissolve and distribute the salt throughout the system.
Step 6: Regular Maintenance
- Check the salt level in the compartment regularly and refill as necessary to maintain optimal dishwasher performance.
