How to Use AM-TECH Glue Stick for Hot Melt Glue Guns

Materials Needed

• AM-TECH Glue Stick (11mm x 100mm, 12pcs)
• Hot Melt Glue Gun
• Protective Surface or Mat
• Materials to be Glued

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace

• Ensure you have a clean and flat surface to work on.
• Place a protective mat or surface to catch any excess glue.

Step 2: Load the Glue Gun

• Ensure the glue gun is unplugged or turned off.
• Insert one AM-TECH glue stick into the back of the glue gun.
• Push the glue stick in until it stops.

Step 3: Heat the Glue Gun

• Plug in the glue gun and turn it on (if applicable).
• Allow the glue gun to heat up for a few minutes, typically 3-5 minutes. Check the manufacturer’s instructions for specific heating times.

Step 4: Apply the Glue

• Once heated, gently squeeze the trigger to release the hot glue.
• Apply the glue to one of the surfaces you wish to bond.
• Press the two surfaces together firmly and hold for a few seconds.

Step 5: Cooling and Setting

• Allow the glued surfaces to cool and set for a few minutes.
• Avoid moving the materials until the glue has completely hardened.

Step 6: Storage and Cleanup

• Turn off and unplug the glue gun after use.
• Allow the glue gun to cool before storing it away.
• Store remaining glue sticks in a cool, dry place.
