How to Use the METALTEX Winged Corkscrew

Step 1: Prepare the Bottle

  • Ensure the wine bottle is on a stable, flat surface.
  • Remove any foil or covering from the top of the bottle using a foil cutter or a knife.

Step 2: Position the Corkscrew

  • Open the wings of the corkscrew by pulling them up.
  • Place the circular base of the corkscrew over the top of the wine bottle.
  • Ensure it’s centered and the screw is directly above the cork.

Step 3: Insert the Screw

  • Hold the corkscrew firmly and start turning the top handle clockwise.
  • Continue turning until the screw is fully inserted into the cork.
  • As you turn, the wings will gradually raise.

Step 4: Remove the Cork

  • Once the screw is fully inserted, press down on both wings simultaneously.
  • The wings will act as levers to effortlessly lift the cork out of the bottle.

Step 5: Enjoy Your Wine

  • Once the cork is removed, carefully remove the cork from the corkscrew by turning it counter-clockwise.
  • Pour and enjoy your wine.
