How to Use Westland Fish Blood & Bone 1.5kg

Introduction

Westland Fish Blood & Bone is an organic-based fertiliser, ideal for promoting healthy growth in all types of plants. It is rich in nutrients and helps improve soil structure.

Materials Needed

• Westland Fish Blood & Bone 1.5kg
• Gardening gloves
• Garden fork or rake
• Watering can or garden hose

Preparation

1. Put on gardening gloves to protect your hands.
2. Ensure that the soil is moist before application for better absorption.

Application

For New Plantings

1. Before planting, scatter the fertiliser evenly over the soil surface at a rate of 70g per square meter.
2. Mix the fertiliser into the top 15cm of soil using a garden fork or rake.
3. Plant your seeds or plants as usual.

For Established Plants

1. Scatter the fertiliser around the base of the plants at a rate of 70g per square meter.
2. Lightly work the fertiliser into the soil with a rake, being careful not to disturb the roots.
3. Water the area well to help the fertiliser penetrate the soil.

• Do not apply fertiliser directly onto plant leaves or stems as it may cause burning.
