Getting Started

1. Unpack all the materials from the kit.
2. Review the pattern guide to familiarize yourself with the design.
3. Ensure you have a clean, well-lit workspace to begin stitching.

Prepare Your Fabric

1. Identify the center of your cross stitch fabric by folding it in half vertically and horizontally.
2. Mark the center lightly with a washable fabric pen or a small stitch.

Threading the Needle

1. Select the thread color required by the pattern guide for your starting point.
2. Cut a length of thread approximately 18 inches long to prevent tangling.
3. Thread the needle, leaving a short tail to secure in the stitches.

Begin Stitching

1. Start stitching from the center of your fabric, following the pattern guide.
2. Use a basic cross stitch technique: bring the needle up through the fabric from the back, then back down diagonally to form an “X”.
