How to Use the Waterbutt Barrel Tub Universal Tap Connector

Installation

1. Ensure that your water butt or barrel is empty and clean before installation.
2. Locate the pre-drilled hole on your water butt where the tap connector will be installed.
3. If there is no pre-drilled hole, carefully drill a hole of appropriate size to fit the tap connector.
4. Insert the tap connector into the hole from the outside.
5. Secure the tap from the inside using the provided washer and nut, ensuring it is tightly fastened to prevent leaks.

Using the Tap

• Ensure the tap is in the “off” position before filling the water butt or barrel.
• To dispense liquid, turn the tap to the “on” position by rotating it counterclockwise.
• To stop the flow, turn the tap back to the “off” position by rotating it clockwise.
• After use, ensure the tap is securely turned off to prevent any dripping or leakage.

Maintenance Tips

• Regularly check the tap for any signs of wear or damage.
• If leakage occurs, tighten the nut and washer to ensure a secure fit.
