Steps to Cover Your Exercise Book

Step 1: Measure the Book

  • Place the exercise book on a flat surface.
  • Use the ruler or measuring tape to measure the height and width of the book, including the spine.
  • Add an extra 2-3 cm to each measurement to allow for overlap and trimming.

Step 2: Cut the Film

  • Cut the film along the marked lines using scissors.

Step 3: Apply the Film

  • Place the cut film piece on the flat surface with the adhesive side facing up.
  • Carefully position the exercise book at the center of the film.
  • Fold the edges of the film over the book, securing it firmly.
  • Ensure there are no air bubbles by smoothing the film from the center outwards.

Step 4: Trim the Excess

  • Use scissors to trim any excess film around the edges of the book for a clean finish.
  • Double-check that the film is securely adhered to the book.

Tips

  • Work slowly and carefully to avoid wrinkles and bubbles.
  • If you make a mistake, gently lift the film and reposition it.
