How to Use the TALA Soft Grip Waiter’s Friend Corkscrew with Foil Cutter and Bottle Opener

Step 1: Preparing the Bottle

• Place the bottle on a flat, stable surface.
• Ensure the bottle is not tilted to avoid spills.

Step 2: Using the Foil Cutter

• Locate the foil cutter on the corkscrew tool.
• Place the foil cutter around the neck of the bottle, just below the lip.
• Firmly squeeze the foil cutter handles together.
• Rotate the bottle or the cutter around the neck to slice through the foil.
• Remove the cut foil and dispose of it properly.

Step 3: Inserting the Corkscrew

• Flip out the corkscrew spiral from the tool.
• Position the tip of the corkscrew at the center of the cork.
• Apply gentle pressure and twist the corkscrew clockwise into the cork.
• Continue twisting until only one spiral coil remains visible.

Step 4: Removing the Cork

• Use the lever arm of the corkscrew to brace against the bottle’s lip.
• Gently pull up on the handle to extract the cork halfway.
• Reposition the lever higher on the bottle’s lip if necessary.
• Continue pulling until the cork is completely removed.

Step 5: Using the Bottle Opener (if needed)

• Locate the bottle opener notch on the tool.
• Place the notch under the cap of a bottle.
• Lift the handle upward to lever the cap off the bottle.

Step 6: Storing the Corkscrew

• Fold the corkscrew spiral and foil cutter back into the handle.
• Store the tool in a safe place, away from children.
