How to Use TALA Steel Cake Stencils
Materials Needed
- TALA Steel Cake Stencils (set of 3)
- Cupcakes or cake
- Powdered sugar, cocoa powder, or icing sugar
- Fine mesh sieve (optional)
- Royal icing (optional)
Steps for Decorating with Powdered Sugar or Cocoa Powder
- Bake and cool your cupcakes or cake completely.
- Choose the desired stencil shape: heart, star, or flower.
- Place the stencil gently on top of the cupcake or cake surface.
- Using a fine mesh sieve, sprinkle powdered sugar or cocoa powder evenly over the stencil.
- Carefully lift the stencil straight up to avoid smudging the design.
- Repeat with other cupcakes or cakes as desired.

- Prepare royal icing to a consistency suitable for stenciling.
- Bake and cool your cupcakes or cake completely.
- Choose the desired stencil shape: heart, star, or flower.
- Place the stencil gently on top of the cupcake or cake surface.
- Using a spatula, spread a thin layer of royal icing over the stencil.
- Carefully lift the stencil straight up to reveal the design.
- Allow the icing to set before serving.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- After use, rinse the stencils with warm water.
- Place them in the dishwasher for thorough cleaning, as they are dishwasher safe.
- Dry the stencils completely before storing to prevent rust.
