• Prepared jam or jelly mixture
• Large bowl or pot for collecting strained liquid

Assembling the Straining Kit

1. Unpack the TALA Jam Straining Kit.
2. Assemble the chromed wire stand by following the included instructions.
3. Attach the nylon jelly bag securely to the stand, ensuring it hangs evenly.

Preparing for Straining

1. Place the stand with the attached jelly bag over a large bowl or pot to collect the strained liquid.

Straining the Jam or Jelly

1. Carefully pour the jam or jelly mixture into the nylon jelly bag using a ladle or spoon.
2. Allow the mixture to strain naturally through the bag, letting gravity do the work.
3. Be patient as this process can take some time. Avoid squeezing the bag to prevent pulp from passing through.

Cleaning Up

1. Once straining is complete, carefully remove the jelly bag from the stand.
2. Dispose of or compost the remaining pulp in the bag.
3. Hand wash the jelly bag and wire stand in warm soapy water. Remember, it is not dishwasher safe.
4. Allow all parts to air dry before storing.
