How to Use the Tala Meat Thermometer

Step 1: Prepare the Meat

  • Identify the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bone and fat.
  • Insert the thermometer probe into the center of the thickest part.
  • Ensure the entire sensing area of the probe is within the meat.

Step 3: Monitor the Temperature

  • Read the temperature display on the thermometer.
  • Consult a meat temperature guide for recommended cooking temperatures.

Step 4: Remove and Clean

  • Once the desired temperature is reached, carefully remove the thermometer.
  • Turn off the thermometer if applicable.
  • Clean the probe with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.

Additional Tips

  • Avoid leaving the thermometer in the meat while it is cooking in the oven.
  • Regularly calibrate the thermometer for accurate readings.
