How to Use the SUNNEX Stainless Steel Vegetable Steamer Basket 30CM / 12″
Step 1: Prepare the Steamer Basket
- Unpack the steamer basket from its packaging.
- Rinse the basket under warm water to ensure it is clean before use.
Step 2: Prepare the Vegetables
- Wash and cut your vegetables to your preferred size.
- Ensure that the vegetables are roughly the same size for even cooking.
Step 3: Set Up the Steamer
- Fill a pot with about 2 inches of water.
- Place the steamer basket inside the pot. Make sure the water level is below the bottom of the basket.
- Bring the water to a gentle boil over medium heat.
Step 4: Steam the Vegetables
- Add the prepared vegetables into the steamer basket.
- Cover the pot with a lid to trap the steam.
- Steam the vegetables until they are tender to your liking. This usually takes 5-10 minutes depending on the type and size of vegetables.
Step 5: Serve
- Carefully remove the lid (beware of hot steam) and take out the steamer basket using oven mitts.
- Transfer the steamed vegetables to a serving dish.
- Add seasoning or dressings as desired and enjoy your healthy steamed vegetables!
