How to Use the Chef Aid Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop
Step 1: Prepare Your Ice Cream
- Ensure the ice cream is stored at the recommended temperature. Too hard or too soft can make scooping difficult.
- Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes if it is too hard.
Step 2: Use the Scoop
- Hold the scoop with a firm grip on the handle.
- Position the scoop at the edge of the ice cream tub.
- Apply a little pressure and rotate the scoop to create a ball of ice cream.
- Continue rotating until a complete scoop is formed.
Step 3: Serve the Ice Cream
- Gently lift the scoop out of the tub.
- Place the scoop over a bowl or cone.
- Release the ice cream ball by gently pressing the lever, if your scoop has one, or by using a slight twisting motion.
Step 4: Clean the Scoop
- Rinse the scoop under warm water to remove any remaining ice cream.
- Use mild detergent and a sponge to clean the scoop thoroughly.
- Rinse again with clean water and dry with a towel.
