How to Use SECURIT S6486 Removable Hook + Loop Strips Medium

Step 1: Prepare the Surface

  • Ensure the surface where you plan to apply the strips is clean and dry.
  • Wipe the area with a damp cloth to remove any dust or debris.
  • Allow the surface to dry completely.

Step 2: Separate the Strips

  • Carefully separate the hook strip from the loop strip.
  • Ensure you have equal lengths of both strips for your application.

Step 3: Apply the Strips

  • Peel off the backing from the adhesive side of the hook strip.
  • Press the adhesive side firmly onto the desired surface.
  • Repeat the process with the loop strip on the object you wish to attach.

Step 4: Attach the Hook and Loop

  • Align the hook strip with the loop strip.
  • Press them together firmly to ensure a secure bond.
  • Adjust the position if necessary by peeling and reapplying.

Step 5: Remove When Needed

  • To remove, gently peel the strips apart starting from one corner.
  • If adhesive residue remains, clean the surface with a mild solvent.

Tips

  • For best results, allow the adhesive to set for several hours before applying stress.
  • Avoid using on surfaces that may be damaged by adhesives.
