How to Use Rentokil Carpet Moth / Beetle Killer 150g
Preparation
- Ensure the area is well-ventilated by opening windows and doors.
- Remove any pets and cover or remove food items from the vicinity.
- Wear protective gloves and a mask if necessary to prevent direct contact with the skin or inhalation.
Application
- Shake the can well before use to ensure the contents are mixed thoroughly.
- Hold the can upright and spray from a distance of about 30cm (12 inches) onto the affected area.
- Apply a light and even coating over carpets, upholstery, and other infested areas.
- Ensure you cover edges and corners where moths and beetles are likely to reside.
Post-Application
- Leave the treated area undisturbed for approximately 1-2 hours to allow the product to take effect.
- Avoid vacuuming immediately after application to let the product work effectively.
- Reintroduce pets and people to the area only after it has been thoroughly aired out and dried.
Safety Tips
- Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
- If contact with skin occurs, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- In case of accidental ingestion or prolonged exposure, seek medical advice immediately.
