Materials Needed

• RAPIDE One Coat Stain Stop Spray Paint
• Protective gloves
• Face mask
• Protective eyewear
• Drop cloth or newspaper
• Sandpaper (optional)
• Clean cloth

Preparation

1. Choose a well-ventilated area to work in.
2. Lay down a drop cloth or newspaper to protect the surrounding area from overspray.
3. Clean the surface you intend to paint using a clean cloth. Ensure it is free from dust, grease, and loose particles.
4. Lightly sand the surface if necessary to ensure better paint adhesion.
5. Shake the spray paint can vigorously for about 1-2 minutes to mix the contents thoroughly.

Application

1. Put on protective gloves, a face mask, and protective eyewear.
2. Hold the spray can approximately 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) away from the surface.
3. Press the nozzle and apply the paint in a steady, sweeping motion.
4. Overlap each pass slightly to ensure even coverage.
5. If necessary, apply a second coat after the first coat has dried completely, following the same method.

Drying and Cleanup

1. Allow the paint to dry for the time specified on the can label, usually around 1-2 hours.
2. Once dry, inspect the surface for any spots that may need touch-up.
3. Clean the nozzle after use by turning the can upside down and spraying until only gas comes out.
4. Store the spray paint can in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
