How to Use the PYREX COOK & FREEZE RECTANGULAR STORAGE SET 1.5L & 2.6L
Getting Started
- Unbox the Pyrex Cook & Freeze Storage Set from its packaging.
- Wash the containers and lids with warm soapy water before the first use to remove any residues from manufacturing.
- Dry the containers and lids thoroughly with a clean cloth or allow them to air dry.
Using for Cooking
- Preheat your oven if necessary for your recipe.
- Fill the Pyrex container with the ingredients according to your recipe.
- Place the container in the oven. Note that the lids are not oven-safe and should be removed when baking or cooking.
- Once cooked, use oven mitts to carefully remove the container from the oven.
Freezing Food
- Allow cooked food to cool to room temperature before transferring it into the Pyrex container.
- Place the lid securely on the container to ensure an airtight seal.
- Label the container with the contents and date before placing it in the freezer.
Reheating
- Remove the container from the freezer and allow it to thaw in the refrigerator or at room temperature.
- Remove the lid from the container before reheating in the oven or microwave.
- Reheat the food according to your desired method and ensure it is heated thoroughly before serving.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- After use, wash the containers and lids in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher.
- Ensure the containers are completely dry before storing them to prevent any odor or mold.
