How to Use the SQ Professional Electrical Rice Cooker

Unpacking and Preparation

• Carefully unpack the rice cooker from its packaging.
• Ensure all components are present, including the inner pot, lid, and power cord.
• Wash the inner pot and lid with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Place the rice cooker on a stable, dry, and heat-resistant surface.

Measuring and Adding Ingredients

• Measure the desired amount of rice using the measuring cup provided.
• Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
• Place the rinsed rice into the inner pot.
• Add water to the inner pot according to the rice cooker’s instructions or your desired rice texture.

Cooking

• Place the inner pot into the rice cooker and close the lid securely.
• Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
• Press the power switch to start the cooking process. The indicator light will signal that the cooker is operational.

After Cooking

• Once the rice is cooked, the cooker will automatically switch to the “Keep Warm” mode.
• Allow the rice to sit for a few minutes for better texture.
• Carefully open the lid using a cloth or oven mitt to avoid steam burns.
• Fluff the rice with a fork or rice paddle before serving.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Unplug the rice cooker and allow it to cool completely.
• Remove the inner pot and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker with a damp cloth.
• Store the rice cooker and accessories in a cool, dry place when not in use.
