How to Use PAINT FACTORY COLOUR IT SPRAY PAINT 400ML – SILVER METALLIC

Materials Needed

• PAINT FACTORY COLOUR IT Spray Paint 400ML – Silver Metallic
• Protective gloves
• Protective eyewear
• Mask or respirator
• Drop cloth or newspaper
• Painter’s tape (optional)
• Sandpaper (optional)
• Primer (optional)

Preparation

1. Work in a well-ventilated area to ensure safety from fumes.
2. Lay down a drop cloth or newspaper to protect surfaces from overspray.
3. Wear protective gloves, eyewear, and a mask or respirator.
4. If necessary, sand the surface to be painted until smooth.
5. Clean the surface to remove dust, dirt, and grease.
6. Apply primer if the surface requires it, and allow it to dry completely.
7. Use painter’s tape to mask off areas you do not want to paint.

Application

1. Shake the spray paint can vigorously for at least one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle.
2. Hold the can upright, approximately 12-16 inches away from the surface.
3. Apply the spray paint in smooth, even strokes, moving the can side to side.
4. Overlap each stroke slightly for even coverage.
5. Apply several thin coats rather than one thick coat, allowing each layer to dry as per instructions on the can.

Drying and Finishing

1. Allow the paint to dry completely according to the manufacturer’s recommended time.
2. Inspect the painted surface and apply additional coats if necessary for full coverage.
3. Once satisfied, remove any painter’s tape carefully.
4. Allow the final coat to cure fully before handling or using the painted item.

Cleanup

• Clear the spray nozzle by turning the can upside down and spraying until only gas escapes.
• Store the can in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
• Dispose of used materials according to local regulations.
