How to Use Paint Factory Colour It Spray Paint 400ml – Pearlised Lilac

Materials Needed

• Paint Factory Colour It Spray Paint 400ml – Pearlised Lilac
• Protective gloves
• Protective mask
• Drop cloths or newspapers
• Painters tape
• Sandpaper or a sanding block
• Clean cloth

Preparation

1. Ensure you are working in a well-ventilated area.
2. Lay down drop cloths or newspapers to protect surrounding surfaces from overspray.
3. Use painter’s tape to mask off any areas you do not want to paint.
4. Lightly sand the surface to be painted to ensure better adhesion.
5. Wipe the surface with a clean cloth to remove dust and debris.

Application

1. Shake the can vigorously for at least 2 minutes after the mixing ball begins to rattle.
2. Hold the spray can approximately 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) from the surface.
3. Apply the paint in a steady back-and-forth motion, overlapping each pass slightly.
4. Apply multiple thin coats rather than one thick coat for best results.
5. Allow each coat to dry according to the manufacturer’s instructions before applying the next coat.

Cleanup

1. Turn the can upside down and spray until only gas comes out to clear the nozzle.
2. Dispose of the spray can according to local regulations.
3. Remove any painter’s tape and clean up drop cloths or newspapers.
