How to Use Swift Mechanical Pencils

Unpack the Mechanical Pencils

• Locate the packaging labeled “SWIFT MECHANICAL PENCILS 4/PK”.
• Carefully open the package to access the four mechanical pencils inside.

Prepare the Pencil for Use

• Pick up one mechanical pencil from the pack.
• Ensure that the pencil is in good condition with no visible damage.

Extend the Lead

• Hold the pencil with your dominant hand.
• Press the button at the top of the pencil to extend the lead.
• Release the button when the lead is sufficiently extended for writing. Typically, about 1-2 mm is enough.

Write with the Pencil

• Place the tip of the pencil on the paper.
• Write as you would with a regular pencil, applying gentle pressure.

Refill the Lead

• If the lead runs out, remove the eraser cap from the top of the pencil.
• Insert a new lead stick into the pencil through the opening.
• Replace the eraser cap once the new lead is inserted.

Replace the Eraser

• If the eraser becomes too short, gently pull it out from the holder.
• Insert a new eraser into the eraser holder.

Store the Pencils Safely

• After use, retract the lead by pressing the button and carefully pushing the lead back into the pencil.
• Store the pencils in a pencil case or a safe location to prevent damage.
