How to Use Fit for the Job Tiger Stripe / Emulsion Paint Mini Rollers

Materials Needed

• Fit for the Job Tiger Stripe / Emulsion Paint Mini Rollers (4 / 100mm 2/PK)
• Paint tray
• Desired paint (emulsion)
• Protective cover for floors and furniture
• Painter’s tape (optional)

Preparation

1. Cover the floor and any furniture in the area with protective sheets to avoid paint splatters.
2. Use painter’s tape to mask off edges, outlets, or any areas that you do not want to paint.
3. Ensure the surface to be painted is clean and dry.

Setting Up the Roller

1. Remove the mini rollers from the packaging.
2. Attach a roller to a compatible roller frame (handle).
3. Pour a small amount of emulsion paint into the paint tray.
4. Dip the roller lightly into the paint, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
5. Roll the roller back and forth on the tray’s ridged section to remove excess paint.

Painting

1. Start applying paint to the surface using the roller. Use long, even strokes for the best coverage.
2. Begin at the top of the wall or surface and work your way down.
3. Re-load the roller with paint as needed. Avoid overloading to prevent drips and uneven coverage.
4. For edges and corners, use a brush or smaller roller if necessary.

Finishing Up

1. Allow the paint to dry as per the manufacturer’s instructions before applying a second coat, if needed.
2. After completing the painting, clean the rollers immediately with water if using water-based paint or the appropriate solvent for oil-based paint.
3. Let the rollers dry and store them for future use.
4. Remove any painter’s tape carefully once the paint is dry.
