How to Use Melitta Pour Over Coffee Filter Bags

Materials Needed

• Melitta Pour Over Coffee Filter Bags (1 x 2 size)
• Ground coffee
• Hot water
• Coffee mug
• Pour over coffee dripper (optional)

Steps to Brew Coffee

1. Prepare the Filter Bag: Take one Melitta pour over coffee filter bag from the package.
2. Place in Dripper or Mug: If using a dripper, place the filter bag inside it. Otherwise, you can place the filter bag directly over your coffee mug.
3. Add Ground Coffee: Fill the filter bag with your desired amount of ground coffee. A common suggestion is one tablespoon per cup, but you can adjust according to your taste preference.
4. Boil Water: Heat water to just below boiling (around 200°F or 93°C).
5. Pour Hot Water: Slowly pour the hot water over the ground coffee in the filter bag. Ensure all the coffee grounds are saturated.
6. Allow Coffee to Brew: Let the water drip through the coffee grounds completely. This should take a few minutes.
7. Remove Filter Bag: Once all the water has dripped through, carefully remove the filter bag and discard it.
8. Enjoy Your Coffee: Your pour over coffee is now ready to be enjoyed. Add milk or sugar if desired.
