How to Use the SQ Professional Electrical Rice Cooker
Getting Started
- Unbox the rice cooker and remove all packaging materials.
- Place the rice cooker on a stable, flat surface near an electrical outlet.
- Ensure all parts are clean and dry before using the appliance for the first time.
Preparation
- Measure the desired amount of rice using the measuring cup provided.
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Place the rinsed rice into the inner pot of the rice cooker.
- Add water to the rice using the appropriate water-to-rice ratio for the type of rice you are cooking.
- Ensure the outer surface of the inner pot is dry before placing it in the rice cooker.
Cooking
- Close the lid of the rice cooker securely.
- Plug the rice cooker into the electrical outlet.
- Turn the rice cooker on by pressing the ‘Cook’ button or switch.
- The cooker will automatically switch to ‘Warm’ mode once the rice is fully cooked.
After Cooking
- Allow the rice to sit in ‘Warm’ mode for a few minutes to finish steaming.
- Carefully open the lid, being cautious of any hot steam.
- Fluff the rice with a rice paddle or fork before serving.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Unplug the rice cooker and allow it to cool before cleaning.
- Remove the inner pot and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Wipe the outer surface of the rice cooker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.
- Store the rice cooker in a dry place when not in use.
