How to Use Korbond Hook & Loop Iron On Black 2cm x 50cm

Materials Needed

• Korbond Hook & Loop Iron On
• Iron
• Ironing Board
• Scissors
• Fabric or Garment
• Pressing Cloth (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Fabric

1. Ensure the fabric or garment is clean and dry.
2. Lay the fabric flat on the ironing board.

Step 2: Cut the Hook & Loop

1. Measure and cut the required length of the hook & loop tape using scissors.
2. Separate the hook side from the loop side.

Step 3: Position the Tape

1. Place the hook side on the fabric where you want it to adhere.
2. Ensure the adhesive side is facing down on the fabric.
3. Repeat the process for the loop side on the corresponding area.

Step 4: Iron the Tape

1. Preheat the iron to a suitable temperature for your fabric type. Avoid using steam.
2. Optionally, place a pressing cloth over the tape to protect it.
3. Press the iron firmly on the tape for 10-15 seconds.
4. Allow the area to cool for a few seconds, then check if the tape is securely attached.
5. Repeat if necessary to ensure a strong bond.

Step 5: Finish Up

1. Once cooled, the fabric is ready to be used as intended with the hook & loop fastener in place.

Tips

• Perform a patch test on a small, inconspicuous area if unsure about the fabric’s heat tolerance.
• For best results, do not wash the item for at least 24 hours after application.
