Step 1: Prepare the Fabric
- Lay the fabric or garment flat on the ironing board.
- Measure the desired length of the hem using the measuring tape or ruler.
- Fold the fabric up to the measured line to create the hem and press it with the iron to create a crease.
Step 2: Cut the Hemming Tape
- Measure the length of the hem you need to secure.
- Cut a strip of Korbond Hemming Tape to match the length of the hem.
Step 3: Apply the Hemming Tape
- Unfold the creased hem and place the hemming tape between the fabric layers along the crease.
- Ensure the hemming tape is evenly distributed along the length of the hem.
Step 4: Secure the Hem
- Set the iron to the appropriate temperature for the fabric type.
- Carefully press the iron onto the hem where the tape is placed, holding it for a few seconds to activate the adhesive.
- Move the iron along the hem, ensuring the tape adheres completely to the fabric.

- Allow the fabric to cool before moving it to ensure the adhesive sets properly.
- Check the hem to ensure it is secure and even.
