• Iron

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Fabric

• Lay the garment or fabric piece flat on a clean surface.
• Measure the desired length of the hem and mark it with chalk or a fabric pen.
• Fold the fabric to the marked line to create a neat edge.

Step 2: Cut the Hemming Web

• Unroll the KORBOND Hemming Web.
• Measure and cut a piece of hemming web that fits the length of the hem.

Step 3: Position the Hemming Web

• Place the hemming web between the folded hem and the main fabric.
• Ensure the web is aligned evenly along the length of the hem.

Step 4: Iron the Hem

• Set your iron to the appropriate temperature for the fabric type.
• Place a pressing cloth or thin towel over the hem area to protect the fabric.
• Press the iron firmly over the hem area for about 10-15 seconds.
• Move the iron along the hem, applying pressure and heat evenly.

Step 5: Finish the Hem

• Allow the hem to cool for a few minutes.
• Check to ensure the hem is securely bonded.
• If necessary, repeat the ironing process for any areas not fully adhered.
