What You Will Need

• GRUNWERG CAFE OLE DOPPIO BLACK CAFETIER
• Freshly ground coffee
• Hot water (just off the boil)
• Spoon for stirring

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Cafetiere

1. Pour hot water into the empty cafetiere to warm it up.
2. Swirl the water around and then discard it.

Step 2: Add Coffee

1. Remove the lid and plunger from the cafetiere.
2. Add one heaped tablespoon of freshly ground coffee for each cup (approximately 6 tablespoons for a full cafetiere).

Step 3: Add Hot Water

1. Slowly pour hot water over the coffee grounds, filling the cafetiere up to the 800ml mark.
2. Stir the mixture gently with a spoon to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated.

Step 4: Brew

1. Place the lid with the plunger on top of the cafetiere but do not press down yet.
2. Allow the coffee to brew for about 4 minutes.

Step 5: Plunge

1. Slowly and steadily press the plunger down to separate the coffee grounds from the liquid.
2. Ensure the plunger is fully pressed down to avoid over-extraction.

Step 6: Serve

1. Pour the freshly brewed coffee into a mug or cup.
2. Enjoy your coffee while it’s hot!

• Disassemble the cafetiere by removing the lid and plunger.
• Dispose of the used coffee grounds responsibly.
