- Drill
- Drill bit (suitable for plasterboard)
- Screwdriver
- Spirit level (optional)
- Pencil
- Measuring tape
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Plan and Mark the Location
- Decide where you want to place your fixture on the plasterboard wall.
- Use a pencil to mark the desired location for the fixings.
- For multiple fixings, use a spirit level to ensure alignment.
Step 2: Drill the Pilot Holes
- Attach a suitable drill bit to your drill.
- Drill a pilot hole at each marked location on the plasterboard.
- Ensure the hole is slightly smaller than the diameter of the brolly anchor.
Step 3: Insert the Brolly Anchors
- Take a brolly anchor from the pack.
- Carefully insert the anchor into the drilled hole.
- Push it in until the flange is flush with the wall.
Step 4: Secure the Fixings
- Use a screwdriver to tighten the screw into the brolly anchor.
- As you tighten, the anchor will expand and secure itself behind the plasterboard.
Step 5: Attach Your Fixture
- Align your fixture with the secured anchors.
- Use additional screws if necessary to attach the fixture firmly to the wall.

- Ensure you are not drilling into electrical wires or plumbing.
- Wear safety goggles to protect your eyes while drilling.
- Double-check the load capacity of the brolly anchors if attaching heavy items.
