How to Use FAST PAK VALUE 1178 Picture Wire

Materials Needed

• FAST PAK VALUE 1178 Picture Wire (3.5M Brassed)
• Picture frame
• Picture hooks or nails
• Wire cutters
• Screwdriver
• Measuring tape
• Level (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Your Materials

• Unpack the picture wire from the packaging.
• Gather all the necessary materials listed above.

Step 2: Measure and Cut the Wire

• Measure the width of the back of your picture frame.
• Add extra length to the measurement for securing the wire, generally about 10-15 cm on each side.
• Use wire cutters to cut the measured length of picture wire.

Step 3: Attach the Wire to the Frame

• Locate the attachment points on the back of the picture frame. These are often D-rings or eyelets.
• Thread one end of the wire through one attachment point and wrap it securely around itself several times.
• Pull the wire taut across the frame and thread the other end through the opposite attachment point.
• Wrap this end of the wire securely around itself several times as well.

Step 4: Install Picture Hooks

• Decide where you want to hang your picture on the wall.
• Use a level to ensure the hooks will be straight (optional).
• Install picture hooks or nails into the wall at your marked location.

Step 5: Hang the Picture

• Gently lift the picture and place the wire over the installed hooks or nails.
• Adjust the picture to ensure it is level and centered.

Tips

• Ensure the wire is securely wrapped to prevent the picture from falling.
• For heavier frames, use two hooks for added stability.
