Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Garlic
- Peel the garlic cloves you wish to press.
- Trim the ends of each clove if necessary.
Step 2: Load the Garlic Press
- Open the garlic press by pulling the handles apart.
- Place one or two garlic cloves in the chamber of the press.
Step 3: Press the Garlic
- Close the handles of the garlic press together firmly.
- Apply steady pressure to crush the garlic through the press.
- Ensure all garlic is pressed by opening and inspecting the chamber. Repeat if necessary.
Step 4: Remove the Garlic
- Use a small knife or spoon to scrape the pressed garlic off the outside of the press.
- Dispose of any remaining garlic skins left in the chamber.
Step 5: Clean the Garlic Press
- Rinse the garlic press under warm water to remove any garlic residue.
- For deeper cleaning, use a small brush to clean inside the chamber and holes.
- Dry the garlic press thoroughly before storing.
