How to Use EVO-STIK Mould Resistant Wall Tile Grout 500g

Materials Needed

• EVO-STIK Mould Resistant Wall Tile Grout 500g
• Bucket or mixing container
• Grout float or spreader
• Sponge
• Clean water
• Protective gloves (optional)
• Protective eyewear (optional)

Preparation

1. Ensure that the surface to be grouted is clean, dry, and free from dust and grease.
2. Select the appropriate grout color that matches or complements your tiles.
3. Put on protective gloves and eyewear if desired for safety.

Mixing the Grout

1. Open the grout package and pour the required amount into a bucket or mixing container.
2. Add clean water gradually while stirring until you achieve a smooth, lump-free consistency.
3. Let the mixture stand for a few minutes, then stir again before applying.

Application

1. Using a grout float or spreader, apply the grout to the tile joints, pressing firmly to ensure full coverage.
2. Work in small sections to prevent the grout from drying out before you can clean it off the tile surface.
3. Remove excess grout from the tile surface using the edge of the grout float held at a 45-degree angle.

Cleaning

1. After about 15-30 minutes, when the grout has started to firm up, use a damp sponge to wipe off any remaining grout on the tile surface.
2. Rinse the sponge frequently with clean water to maintain its effectiveness.
3. Allow the grout to dry completely, usually 24 hours, before exposing it to water or heavy use.

Finishing Touches

1. Once the grout is fully cured, polish the tiles with a dry cloth to remove any remaining haze.
2. Inspect the grout lines for any gaps or imperfections and touch up if necessary.

Maintenance

• Check the grout lines periodically for signs of wear or damage.
• Clean tiles and grout regularly to maintain their appearance and longevity.
