How to Use EVERBUILD All Purpose Wallpaper Paste

Materials Needed

• EVERBUILD All Purpose Wallpaper Paste
• Water
• Mixing bucket or container
• Stirring stick or tool
• Wallpaper brush or roller
• Wallpaper rolls (up to 5)
• Scissors or utility knife
• Sponge or clean cloth

Preparation

1. Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free from any old wallpaper or debris.
2. Measure the wall area to determine how many wallpaper rolls will be needed.

Mixing the Paste

1. Open the EVERBUILD All Purpose Wallpaper Paste package.
2. Pour the recommended amount of cold water into the mixing bucket or container. Refer to the product packaging for specific water measurement instructions.
3. Gradually add the wallpaper paste powder to the water while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
4. Stir the mixture thoroughly until a smooth consistency is achieved.
5. Let the paste sit for a few minutes to thicken to the desired consistency.

Application

1. Cut the wallpaper to the appropriate length, allowing a little extra for trimming.
2. Using a wallpaper brush or roller, apply the paste evenly onto the back of the wallpaper strip.
3. Fold the wallpaper strip by bringing both ends towards the middle, paste side in, and let it sit for a few minutes. This process is called “booking” and helps the paste set.

Hanging the Wallpaper

1. Unfold the top half of the wallpaper strip and position it at the top of the wall.
2. Smooth the wallpaper onto the wall from the center outwards using a clean brush or smoothing tool to remove any air bubbles.
3. Continue unrolling and smoothing the wallpaper down the wall.
4. Trim any excess wallpaper at the edges using a sharp utility knife or scissors.
5. Wipe away any excess paste with a damp sponge or clean cloth.

Finishing Touches

• Allow the wallpaper to dry completely before touching or placing any objects against it.
• Check for any areas that may need additional paste or smoothing.
