Introduction

Materials Needed

• EUROFIX Siliconized Acrylic Sealant 450GM
• Caulking gun
• Utility knife or scissors
• Protective gloves
• Clean cloth
• Masking tape (optional)

Preparation

1. Ensure the surface is clean and dry. Remove any old sealant, dirt, or debris.
2. Use masking tape to define the area if you want a clean line.
3. Cut the tip of the sealant nozzle with a utility knife at a 45-degree angle to match the width of the gap.
4. Pierce the inner seal of the tube with a long nail or similar object.

Application

1. Insert the sealant tube into the caulking gun.
2. Hold the gun at a consistent angle and apply steady pressure on the trigger to dispense the sealant evenly.
3. Fill the gap or joint with a continuous bead of sealant, ensuring it makes full contact with the surfaces.

Finishing

1. Use a wet finger or a caulk-smoothing tool to smooth out the sealant bead and remove any excess.
2. Remove masking tape before the sealant starts to skin over.
3. Wipe off any excess sealant with a clean cloth.

Curing

Allow the sealant to cure as per the manufacturer’s instructions, usually 24 hours, before exposing it to water or heavy use.
