How to Use the SQ Professional Lustro Stainless Steel Steamer
Components
- 1 x Pot – 3.4L
- 2 x Steamers – 2.6L each
- 1 x Steamer – 1.8L
Preparation
- Unpack all components of the steamer and wash them thoroughly with warm soapy water before first use.
- Ensure all parts are clean and dry before assembling.
Assembly
- Place the pot (3.4L) on your stove or hob.
- Stack the steamers on top of the pot in your desired order.
- Ensure the steamers are aligned properly for stability.
Adding Water
- Pour water into the pot. Ensure the water level is below the bottom of the first steamer to avoid boiling the food directly.
- Check the water level periodically during cooking to ensure it doesn’t evaporate completely.
Using the Steamer
- Place the food you want to steam in the steamers.
- Cover with the lid provided to trap steam effectively.
- Turn on the stove and bring the water in the pot to a gentle boil.
- Steam the food for the required time according to your recipe.
Finishing Up
- Once cooking is complete, turn off the heat.
- Carefully remove the lid to let the steam escape before removing the steamers.
- Remove the steamers and serve the food.
Cleaning
- Allow all components to cool before cleaning.
- Wash each piece with warm soapy water and a soft sponge.
- Dry all components thoroughly to prevent water spots and maintain the stainless steel finish.
Storage
- Once dry, store the steamer in a cool, dry place.
- Stack the steamers and pot to save space.
