Materials Needed

• DEKTON Hook and Loop Sanding Disc 60 Grit
• Compatible sander with a 6-inch / 150mm hook and loop backing pad
• Protective gear (gloves, dust mask, goggles)
• Workpiece to be sanded

Safety Precautions

• Wear protective gear to keep yourself safe from dust and debris.
• Ensure the sander is turned off and unplugged before attaching the sanding disc.

Attaching the Sanding Disc

• Ensure the sander’s backing pad is clean and free from any dust or debris.
• Align the sanding disc with the sander’s backing pad.
• Press firmly to ensure the hook and loop system securely attaches the disc to the pad.
• Check that the disc is centered and lies flat on the backing pad.

Sanding Process

• Plug in and turn on the sander, adjusting the speed setting if applicable.
• Begin sanding the workpiece with light, even pressure.
• Move the sander in a consistent pattern to ensure an even finish.
