How to Use the DEKTON 10 PCS Puncture Repair Kit

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

• DEKTON 10 PCS Puncture Repair Kit
• Air pump
• Gloves (optional)
• Clean cloth

Step 2: Locate the Puncture

1. Inflate the tire slightly if needed to detect the puncture.
2. Listen for escaping air or look for any visible damage.
3. Mark the puncture location with a chalk or marker.

Step 3: Prepare the Area

1. Deflate the tire completely.
2. Clean the punctured area with a clean cloth to remove dirt and debris.

Step 4: Use the Repair Kit

1. Remove the object causing the puncture if it is still lodged in the tire.
2. Take out the rasp tool from the kit and insert it into the puncture hole.
3. Use the rasp tool to clean and roughen the inside of the puncture, twisting and turning it to prepare the surface.
4. Thread a repair strip into the eye of the insertion tool.
5. Push the repair strip into the hole using the insertion tool until only a small amount of the strip remains outside.
6. Gently pull the tool out, leaving the strip in place inside the tire.

Step 5: Finishing Up

1. Trim any excess repair strip that is protruding from the tire surface.
2. Inflate the tire to the recommended pressure using your air pump.
3. Check for leaks by applying soapy water around the repaired area and looking for bubbles.
4. If no leaks are present, the repair is complete.
5. Reattach the tire to your vehicle or store it as needed.

• Wear gloves to protect your hands while handling tools and tires.
• If the puncture is on the sidewall or too large to repair, consider replacing the tire.
