How to Use the CROMPTON FLUORESCENT 3FT T8 TUBE

Step 1: Safety Precautions

• Ensure the power supply is turned off before starting the installation.
• Wear protective gloves to avoid injury from broken glass or exposure to electrical components.
• Handle the tube with care to prevent breakage.

Step 2: Removing the Old Fluorescent Tube

• Locate the light fixture and remove the diffuser, if present, by gently lifting or unclipping it.
• Hold the old fluorescent tube securely and rotate it 90 degrees until the pins align with the slots in the socket.
• Carefully slide the tube out of the fixture.
• Dispose of the old tube according to local regulations for hazardous materials.

Step 3: Installing the New CROMPTON Fluorescent Tube

• Take the new 3FT T8 tube and align its pins with the slots in the fixture’s socket.
• Gently push the tube into the socket and rotate it 90 degrees to secure it in place.
• Ensure the tube is firmly seated and stable within the fixture.

Step 4: Testing the Installation

• Turn the power supply back on.
• Switch on the light fixture to test the new fluorescent tube.
• If the light does not turn on, ensure the tube is correctly installed and check that the fixture is functioning properly.

Step 5: Finishing Touches

• If applicable, reattach the diffuser to the light fixture.
• Clean up the work area and store any spare tools and packaging safely.
