How to Use: Kids Create Mould and Paint Make Your Own Transport Figurines
Materials Needed
- Mould and Paint Kit
- Water
- Old Newspapers or Protective Sheet
- Paintbrushes (included in the kit)
- Paints (included in the kit)
- Mixing Bowl
- Stirring Stick
Setting Up
- Lay down old newspapers or a protective sheet on your workspace to avoid any mess.
- Gather all the materials listed above.
Preparing the Mould
- Open the mould provided in the kit and ensure it is clean and dry.
- Lightly dust the inside of the mould with flour or talcum powder to help with easy release later.
Mixing the Plaster
- In a mixing bowl, combine the plaster powder from the kit with the specified amount of water. Refer to the kit instructions for the correct ratio.
- Stir the mixture well until it reaches a smooth, lump-free consistency.
Filling the Mould
- Carefully pour the plaster mixture into the mould, filling it completely.
- Tap the mould gently on the surface to release any air bubbles.
- Let the plaster set for the recommended time, usually around 30-60 minutes.
Removing the Figurine
- Once the plaster has set and hardened, gently remove the figurine from the mould.
- If there are any rough edges, you can smooth them out with fine sandpaper.
Painting the Figurine
- Use the paintbrushes and paints provided in the kit to decorate your transport figurine.
- Let your creativity flow and paint details as you see fit.
- Allow the paint to dry completely before handling or displaying your figurine.
Displaying Your Creation
- Once dry, your transport figurine is ready to be displayed or gifted.
- Consider placing it on a shelf, desk, or any area where it can be admired.
