Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Work Area

• Place the material you are nailing into on a stable surface.
• Ensure that the surface is flat and won’t move while you’re working.

Step 2: Position the Nail

• Hold the nail at the desired location on the material.
• Align the nail perpendicular to the surface for best results.

Step 3: Hammer the Nail

• Grip the hammer firmly in your dominant hand.
• Gently tap the nail to embed it slightly into the material, holding it steady with your other hand.
• Once the nail can stand on its own, remove your hand and continue hammering.
• Strike the nail head squarely with the hammer until the nail is fully embedded.

Step 4: Finishing Up

• Ensure the nail is flush with the surface, or slightly below if countersinking is desired.
• Inspect the work to ensure the nail is secure and properly positioned.

• If nailing into hard wood or materials, consider drilling a pilot hole to prevent splitting.
