How to Use BRITA MAXTRA PRO ALL-IN-1 WATER FILTER CARTRIDGE

Unpacking the Cartridge

  • Open the package containing the BRITA MAXTRA PRO ALL-IN-1 WATER FILTER CARTRIDGE.
  • Carefully remove one cartridge from the pack of six.

Preparing the Cartridge

  • Remove the protective packaging from the cartridge.
  • Fill a container with cold tap water.
  • Immerse the cartridge in the water and shake it gently to remove any air bubbles.
  • Soak the cartridge for at least 5 minutes.

Installing the Cartridge

  • Open the lid of your BRITA water filter jug or dispenser.
  • Insert the soaked cartridge into the funnel of the jug or dispenser, ensuring it fits securely.

Flushing the Cartridge

  • Fill the jug or dispenser with cold tap water.
  • Allow the water to filter through the cartridge completely.
  • Discard the first two fillings of filtered water or use it for plants, as this helps to remove any loose particles.

Using the Filtered Water

  • Once the cartridge is flushed, you can start using the filtered water for drinking and cooking.
  • Replace the cartridge every 4 weeks or after filtering 100 liters of water for optimal performance.

Maintaining the Cartridge

  • Store unused cartridges in a cool, dry place until needed.
  • Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for regular cleaning of the water filter jug or dispenser.
